Ken Kolker is a storyteller, journalist, photographer, investigative television reporter, and artist.
He began creating in Mrs. Timermanis’ high school art class at Wyoming Park High School. After a 40-year absence, Ken returned to the easel working with both oils and acrylics.
While working as a journalist with the Saginaw News, Ken learned his early photography skills from his co-worker, photographer and great friend Steve Jessmore. Thus began his life-long love of photography.
Vicky Johnson is a software manager, dog lover, gardener, National Park explorer, rock hound, and artist.
Vicky accidentally began painting in 2019. What started out as a family “paint and sip” event quickly became a passion and daily practice! Her paintings are usually abstract, bright, and oftentimes inspired by nature.
Ken and Vicky have been collaborating personally and artistically since 2021. They reside in the best side, the west side, of Grand Rapids, Michigan where they share their “always under construction” 100-year-old home with their dog, George.
